Registration is now open for the Trauma-Aware Education Conference 2024.
Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment (not the registration date). All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

**Group registrations – to be eligible for the group registration all delegates must be from the same workplace (e.g. school, early childhood service, or organisation).
Full / Student registration includes:
- Attendance to all keynotes and conference sessions on Thursday and Friday
- Attendance to master classes on Saturday
- All morning and afternoon teas and lunches
- Option to purchase a conference dinner ticket for the subsidised price of $95.00, subject to availability
Group registration includes:
- Attendance to all keynotes and conference sessions on Thursday and Friday
- Attendance to master classes on Saturday
- All morning and afternoon teas and lunches
- Option to purchase a conference dinner ticket for $170.00, subject to availability
One / Two day registration includes:
- Attendance to conference sessions/master classes on the nominated day/s
- Morning and afternoon tea and lunch on the nominated day/s
- One and two day delegates have the option of purchasing a guest dinner ticket for $170.00, subject to availability
Please note: Accommodation and travel expenses are additional to the registration fees. Accommodation can be booked as part of the registration process. Further accommodation details and pricing will be provided in January.
The Trauma-Aware Education Conference dinner will be held on Thursday, 31 October 2024 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
A ticket includes a 3-course meal, beverages and entertainment.
Subsidised dinner tickets will be available for full and student registrations for $95.00 each. Groups, one and two day registration delegates and any guests wanting to attend the dinner can purchase a guest ticket for $170.00.
Seats will be limited for the dinner and once sold out a wait list will be implemented.
Online registration will open on 29 January 2024.
When you register online, you will receive confirmation of your registration straight away via email including a tax invoice.
If you do not receive this confirmation email, please first check your spam folder then contact the conference organiser via traumaconf@expertevents.com.au.
All payments must be in Australian dollars (AUD). Payment may be made by:
Credit card – MasterCard or Visa.
Note that payments will appear as Expert Events on your credit card statement.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Details provided on tax invoice.
Payment is due 14 days from the date of registration or prior to the commencement of the conference (whichever is first). If you are seeking the early registration rate, payment must be made prior to the early registration deadline.
Cancellations must be advised in writing to the conference organiser.
Registration cancellations received by 5pm on Friday 24 August 2024 will receive a refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of AUD110.
Registration cancellations received after 5pm on Friday 24 August 2024 but prior to 5pm on Friday 27 September 2024, will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees paid and 100% of any function tickets paid.
Cancellations received after 5pm on Friday 27 September 2024 will not be eligible for a refund.
Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the conference organiser is advised in writing.
